To ensure your laser procedure is as effective and safe as possible, our doctors may recommend certain activities before and after the procedure. Here are the guidelines:

Avoid taking medicines and herbs that increase the risk of bleeding.
Avoid products that contain glycolic acid or a retinoid for 2–4 weeks.
Avoid exposing your skin to harsh sunlight for a long time.
Avoid procedures like waxing, chemical peels, and collagen injections.
Quit smoking at least two weeks before the procedure.
Do not use deodorants, perfumes, and other products that could affect the laser-treated areas of your skin.
Wear easily removable clothes like button-up shirts and loose pants to minimise cloth contact with the treated site.
Apply moisturising lotion or a healing ointment prescribed by our doctor to the area at least twice daily.
Avoid using makeup on the treated site until the redness has subsided and the area has healed.
