Post Care

There are now a variety of anti-ageing treatments available that are effective and safe for use on Indian skin; however, there are some precautions that you should take before beginning treatment.

It would be best to avoid excessive sun exposure for about 10 days before your anti-ageing treatment begins.

For 14 days before treatment, avoid microderma facials or exfoliating treatments (glycolic, enzymes, etc.) to the affected area.

For 14 days before treatment, you should stop using any over-the-counter acne medications.

If your primary care physician agrees, you should stop taking blood thinners ten days before treatment to reduce the risk of excessive bleeding or bruising.

Clients are strongly encouraged to use Sun-cream with SPF 40 daily in conjunction with the treatments for optimal results and to maintain results.

For an anti-ageing treatment, the post-care instructions can differ for each patient. General instructions include the following:

Reduce swelling by using cold compresses soon after treatment.

Keep the treated area away from direct sources of heat (sun lamps or sunbathing).

Avoid touching or massaging the treated area for at least 48 hours after receiving injections.

Don't go for a swim or do strenuous exercise on the day you can scheduled the Anti-Ageing treatment. For 2 days following your treatment, avoid using steam, saunas, and other similar treatments.

Avoid a visit to the dentist for 30 days after getting filler injections.

keep a steady weight and enjoy good health
use sunscreen and stay out of tanning beds to prevent premature ageing of the skin caused by sun exposure

This programme is not recommended for: pregnant or breastfeeding women, people with active skin infections or any underlying medication, or people taking certain medicines that can hamper the effect of the treatment and delay healing.
